"A Moment of Millennial Leader in Community"

              Green Valley College Incorporated Isulan Campus has celebrated a 5th Leadership Festival andIntramurals last September 30,2017at Kalawag II, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat in their gymnasium with a Theme: ”Acknowledging the helm of Millennial Leadership” we celebrated it yearly to show our skills, talents, and share into different Delegation to achieve high performances compared to other institution.

       We started our program from our school headed by our ROTC officers and members. At the start of our program, we had Thematic parade participated by three teams which are the Dauntless Firing Squadcombining the Department of Drafting Technology day and night class, Golden Stag combining the Department of Food and Services Management and Automotive Technology, and the Blue Ice Wizard combining the Department of Grade XI/XII a Senior High School Department. Everyone is excited about the event on the first day of intramurals meeting new people and finding our way around can be nerve-racking. It could be one of those areas that intramurals sports, socio-cultural and mental abilities to those students who show their skills and talents.

    The program starts when the students arrived at the gymnasium and started their program as giving of doxology to respect our almighty father and to start our program with a sense of peace and protection to each other. A program starts with the opening remarks by Mrs. Evangelina E. Zambrano a Director-In-Charge of its institution, she said that ”this activities or program is not a competition instead this is a showdown”. Then, after she speaks out the management host was started to introduce the Board of Judges to starts a Socio-cultural dance which is yelling and cheer dance competition that begins in the morning activities. The first team to perform is the Dauntless Firing Squad they wear an orange t-shirt. Dauntless Firing Squad is very competitive they have performed a yelling and cheer dance with confidence and it's perfect and not totally, but they did everything that those audiences must be amazed to their performance and it is also the Board of Judges. A second team who will perform is the Golden Stag they perform a particular completion but they did not get it perfect because there is something happen to the management music operator, then they missed some notes and steps. The last team who will perform is the Blue Ice Wizard it is very talented, “said by the management host”, but they didn’t know that this team practiced a two half in a day. But even when they have not practiced it perfectly they performed it with a confidence, “performers said, that we do not think that we want to win instead we are performing this because to enjoy ourselves being as a millennial leader”, and we need to do is give all our best.

      The first activities were conducted is banner racing that represented by every team it will be followed by the socio-cultural completion the board of judges is already finished to solve the total average of a score in each team, so the management host was already from the judges. And afterward, Ms. Jenny Espanola a management host has announced a 2nd place that goes to Golden Stag team, then the 1 st place goes to Blue ice Wizard team, and the last team who take thrown of a champion is the Dauntless Firing Squad. After, she announced the place of each team the special guest spoke of an inspirational message is one of the judges at the same time a Barangay Kagawad of a Kalawag II, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat that courage those students to take education to have a bright and to enhance the talents of every individual

       Afternoon activities in a first-day event are one of the component of the Department of Campus Recreation within the Division of Student Services. The program is very structured and offers individual, dual, and team sports for male and female participant. Participation is not required, and an individual does not to be highly skilled to participate. Intramural range from traditional such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton in other activities is board games such as games of general, chess, dart, and scrabble that played by a different team. In academic status are much different performance such as extemporaneous speech, speech quire, spoken poetry, emblem, declamation, and essay writing these are the academic status that was used our critical thinking mind as a to enjoy a moment of being a millennial leader. As we must proceed the next journey of our life let us show and share first our talents, skills, and happiness into every individual especially to the millennial community of Green Valley College Isulan INC. Isulan campus. Green Valley College INC. is one of the most excellent record beings as a leader of millennia’s to innovate the performance of a leader in the community by making a good character a model of a particular institution it also into the global community.

       In the second day of intramurals September 29, 2017, Friday morning a second part of the event is the championship event of ball games that played by different teams. Every team must be prepared the players to face another journey of their members.

       Last day of intramurals September 30, 2017, Saturday morning is the first part of the last part event activities such as Vocal Solo that participate by different teams. Afternoon in the last part of the event is Macho. GAY preparing by SSC advisers and its officer. After that activity must be followed by the total score of every team in different activities. Champion in overall activities is going to a dauntless firing squad. 1 st place is awarded to Golden Stag Warrior. 2nd place is awarded to Blue Ice wizard a Senior High School Department.

       Remember everything’s that you’ve failed in every journey of your life has a purpose and I think this is not your day, But I can assure you that tomorrow is yours. Just enjoy your moment being as a millennial leader of your community.
